Application Procedure and Deadline:

To be considered for a travel award, the following materials must be submitted:

  1. A completed Travel Award Application.
  2. A detailed budget plan (as part of the online application).
  3. A separate completed Diversity Application.

Application Deadline: 5 March 2024 (all submitted on March 5 will be taken into consideration).

Submit the application form and budget plan.

Decision Process and Notification:

Applications will be reviewed by the ECC Travel Award Committee. Decisions will be based on the financial needs of the applicant and diversity scoring. Awards of up to $1000 USD will only be offered to individuals of demonstrably low socio-economic backgrounds. Accommodation costs are not included in the calculation, but will be reimbursed along with travel costs up to the amount of the award ($500 USD/$1000 USD). Conference registration costs will not be reimbursed. Winners will be notified by e-mail by March 8, 2024.

Award Disbursement:

Awards will be given as reimbursements to recipients following the conclusion of the annual conference. Recipients should be prepared to submit receipts for travel costs incurred (e.g., airline tickets). Recipients will receive the amount equivalent to their travel costs, up to $500 USD ($1000 USD for those eligible), depending on their needs (if travel costs are less than the maximum limits the recipient will receive an amount equal to their travel expenses). Those who are in the ISPP Academy can apply for the Travel Award, but are eligible to receive reimbursement for their travel and accommodation costs only for the dates of the main conference, and not for the Academy dates. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover all expenses and strongly encourage applicants to search for additional sources of funding.
