AV EQUIPMENT UPDATE
(5/16/06):
We HAVE been able to secure overhead projectors for all presentations. Rooms are
also equipped with an LCD projector for PowerPoint and screen. Remember that you
should bring your own laptop computer if needed. If your presentation requires
any other equipment, please contact Linda Patten of Wayneflete (wayneflete@patten.com)
as soon as possible, and she will work to
accommodate
your needs.
Please note that a few presentations have been rescheduled since program
schedule first posted. PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE at
(http://ispp.org/2006prelimprog.html)
REGULARLY for updated schedule. (After May 11, the day of your presentation
will not be changed; please make travel plans after May 11.)
We are delighted that your submission(s) has/have been accepted to the Annual
Meeting of the International Society of Political Psychology, July 12-15, 2006,
Barcelona Spain. We are looking forward to your participation in a most engaging
and stimulating conference.
We have mailed printed acceptance letters to
all presenters for whom we have addresses. However, we do not have complete
mailing addresses for some presenters. If you have not received a printed signed acceptance letter
and need one, please contact the Central Office (ispp@maxwell.syr.edu)
with your name, mailing address, and title(s) of presentation(s).
For the scheduling of your panel and other information pertinent to the
meeting, please see the preliminary program (updated regularly) posted on
the ISPP website(http://ispp.org/2006prelimprog.html)
Please note that some presentations have been rescheduled since program first
posted. PLEASE CHECK BACK REGULARLY for updated information. (After May 11, the
day of your presentation will not be changed; please make travel plans after May
11.) Changes in the schedule cannot be made to accommodate travel preferences,
although of course every effort will be made to do so for unusual and grave
circumstances.
If for any reason you are unable to attend or must
request a schedule change, please
inform Program Chair Yael Aronoff (ysa4@columbia.edu)
ASAP, so that changes can be made to the program. Meanwhile, please communicate
with your co-presenters, panel chair, and others on your panel to share
information and make plans. We will also update this web page regularly with
important information for presenters.
If your panel has no chair to keep time, please calculate the time you will have to present if all presenters
get equal time, allowing for at least 15 minutes for discussion with audience
(plus 10 minutes for discussant's comments, if applicable). Most presenters will have around 15 minutes for a presentation.
Please note that all presenters must pre-register (and pay) for meeting
attendance. Online registration is also available at the website listed above. (If you are not currently an ISPP
member, you can join/renew through our website,
http://ispp.org/join.html, and then you will be eligible to register for the
meeting at the lower member rates.)
Please submit a copy of your paper that you will be presenting to all
participants in your panel, including the discussant, at least 10 days before
the beginning of the meeting. (For presenters' contact information,
click here.) Also, we are still looking for additional
discussants, so if you would be willing to serve as discussant for another
panel, please inform Yael. High rates of participation by discussants will
continue to ensure the high quality of ISPP's annual meetings.
A reminder: Although we will do our best to accommodate your AV requests, we
cannot guarantee we will be able to provide all equipment requested. (See
note above). You will need to bring your own laptop computer if needed for your
presentation. Finally, please remember that all presentations must be conducted
in English, although visuals and outlines in Spanish in addition to English are
encouraged.
Thank you again for your submission and participation.

Yael Aronoff and
