Jim McAuley
is a Professor in Behavioural Sciences at the University of Huddersfield, UK, where he has taught political psychology for the past 15 years. He has been a visiting research fellow at several institutions in France, Canada and the USA. Awarded his BSc from the University of Ulster in 1983, and a PhD in 1998 from the University of Leeds (a study the impact of political violence on identity), he has continued to write extensively issues around conflict, division and peace processes. A long standing member of ISPP, he is a regular presenter at annual meetings, a mentor to junior scholars, and has published in Political Psychology.
