Agnieszka Golec de Zavala, Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University, UK, received her PhD from Polish Academy of Sciences in 1999. In 1997-2007 she taught political psychology and advanced social psychology at Warsaw School of Social Psychology. Her interests include escalation and management of political conflict, political beliefs and political thinking, psychological underpinnings of conservatism. She publishes in peer reviewed journals, authored a book in Polish and edited a book on Polish political psychology. She has been a member of ISPP since 1996, participated in the SIPP and helped organize and taught at the European SIPP. She helped organize ISPP Annual Meeting in Lund.
